We love you and miss worshiping in person with you! But we also want everyone to be safe. Check out these resources to see how Calvary is looking at the repoening situation.
Our building is closed, but our church remains open.
Livestream
We’re still having live weekly worship! Calvary is joining with Bolsters Mills and Thornton Heights UMCs for livestream worship broadcast live from the parsonage! Pastors Annie and John Baker-Streevy preach and lead worship with additional content from guest scripture readers, musicians, sermonizers, and more! Get more info at our livestream page.
When are we going back?
The short answer is that it won’t be anytime soon. The longer answer is that Calvary leadership have been working since May on the guidelines and criteria that will help us determine when it’s safe to go back. This one-sheet gives a summary of the minimum Calvary UMC will need to have in place before resuming in-person worship. It is a summary of the “preparation” section in the full opening document below.
Reopening Document
This full reopening document was created using guidance from the CDC, the New England Conference of The United Methodist Church, and some very helpful question from the Wisconsin Council of Churches.
