Recycle . . . Can You Help? CUMC does not have recycle pickup . . . so all of our recyclable materials go into our trash—unless you are moved to take some of it home to recycle. A labeled barrel downstairs holds plastic, cardboard, milk jugs, etc. Take as much or as little as you can and help us to help the environment! Thanks!

Do You Subscribe to the Sun-Journal? Sun-Journal has a membership donation option. If you have a full membership with the Sun Journal, you can go on the Web page www.sunjournal.com and have $100 of advertisement donated to the church. A person can only do one donation per year, but if you have more than 1 person who is a SJ full subscriber, they can each do it. The church could use this $$ for any advertisement in the SJ. If you need more information, contact Dorothy J. Gosselin, Account Executive 207.689.2978 dgosselin@sunjournal.com

It Is Not Just Soda! Tab Top Program/Pull for the Ronald McDonald House Ounce by Ounce, Pound by Pound, YOU can make a ton of difference for the Ronald McDonald House. It’s easy. Pop off the aluminum tabs from soda, tennis ball, vegetable, soup, pet food cans, etc. Deposit them in the containers placed in the fellowship hall and dining room. Why “Pull for the Ronald McDonald House”? Creates community support and promotes recycling while raising funds to support families. Maine Metal Recycling in Auburn weighs the tabs, pays the going rate for aluminum and sends a check to the Ronald McDonald House. Although it costs families $10 a night, lengths of stay and medical expenses can add up. The money raised guarantees no family is ever turned away. Why collect only the tabs? Collecting tabs is an easy way for people of all ages to support the House that Love Built.

SOCKS! The sock box still has room in it. Men’s winter weight socks would be greatly appreciated. Please bring in new or gently used socks to help keep the tootsies protected.
