"How great a forest is set ablaze by a such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire." -James 3:5b The letter of James writes that the tongue, the words we speak, can have have positive and negative consequences beyond what we expect, the spark can become a fire, a small drip a lake. Our words have power, and as Christians we are called to tame words that might harm and instead create fires of encouragement in one another. This Sunday we explore together what it means to glorify God with our words.
